Dragon and Tiger

Dragon and Tiger by Yoshimura Kokei (Wikimedia Commons)

1. Yin

She flows through
the earthly streams
icy underbelly sloshes
in the underbrush of the mountains

the tigress roams concealed.

2. Yang

He zooms across
the heavenly realm
fiery untamed storm
thunder strikes into the heart

the dragon is revealed.

3. Oneness

When the opposing forces
clash and contrast
the world stands undivided
neither dark nor light...

survives.

My humble attempt at Dverse’s MTB: Three Way Split. I chose the trifecta “Yin, Yang, Oneness” going with the standard definition of the terms as they are mystical in nature.

Thanks for reading 💕
